Bel here, with your official Christmas pressie list sorted! In this post, I've written some very affordable options for main people you would buy for. I reccommend you start your Christmas shopping now because if you leave it to the last minute it can get really hectic! I have also provided some places where you can buy great gifts so you can browse those too! Hope this list helps!
What to buy for...
Your mum
- A beauty hamper - get a nice basket and ribbon and fill it with things like bath salt, bubble bath, body lotion, shampoo, nice soap, incense. Your mum will love these sorts of things and will enjoy pampering herself. The Body Shop has some wonderful things. If you haven't got any money to spend than I suggest making your own treatments for her and pampering her for a day as your gift. Go to http://www.spaindex.com/HomeSpa/HomeSpa.htm for great recipes and ideas.
- Something for the home - make sure you know what kind of style your mum likes and buy her a nice ornament or just like a useful thing for her such as: large tote bag, beach/home towel, pretty containers for kitchen and bathroom. Villa and Hut has lovely things although they can be quite pricey. Bed Bath'n Table is another lovely shop where you are guaranteed to find exactly what you want.
Your Dad
- A book about a subject that interests him (popular ones include cars, history, planes, food). Try Dymocks, Borders or Angus and Robertson. Also try Amazon - you'll probably find something cheaper.
- A gift voucher to a favoured shop (the amount of money depends on your current budget). Perhaps your dad loves to shop at Dick Smith or maybe Bunnings?
That person that is just so hard to buy for! (They like have EVERYTHING already!)
- An awesome gadget or 'cool thing' - one of my friends has like everything and I got him this awesome star lamp and pin art and he loved it! Other ideas are Newtons Cradle, electric shock machine, plasma lamp, talking robot. These things are just SO fun! Head to Autralian Geographic and you're bound to find something or go to ozgadgets.com.au.
- A fiction novel in a genre they like - if you know what they like you can't go wrong!
Here are some 'extras' you may like to include in your gift: lollies (The British Lolly Shop is good), cool pics/postcards, cute pieces of fabric or mini notebooks. They give the present a 'complete' feeling!
Post soon
