Today's entry from BEL is about meditating!!!! OMG lol we did so much at school. Anyway, meditating is soooooooo nice! It is super relaxing! So now you're probably thinking, sure its great but how do i do it? Here's how:
- I prefer meditating lieing down rather than sitting cross-legged. But its up to you - whatever's more comfortable.
- If you have a meditating CD, put that on and listen with your eyes closed.
- If not, search meditation music onto youtube and you're bound to find something you like.
- Make sure you're comfy and have what you need (e.g. pillow, cushion)
- Don't put the music or CD on too loud.
- Focus on every part of your body - from your eyelids to the tips of your toes. Think about your breathing and just try to relax.
- When you're finished, get up really slowly otherwise you might get blood rushing to your head (i.e NOT VERY PLEASANT!)
Now I bet you're thinking: I really want to do this but I have no time for such things! Meditation is not a kind of thing that you need to spend hours doing. Finding just a few minutes each day or every couple of days is very good - it helps to clear your mind and free it of worries.
